everybody yeah, guess what i have behind this my jacket here it's the new make that we are going to make are you ready for this, okay? here it comes to reveal whapaw! it's a cat toilet for boys and girls, it's just you know a wonderful is the latest, hottest trend in cat toilets here in europe and well, let's get going let me show you what you'll need: cardboard box ha ha ha, i bet that came as a surprise a ruler, preferably a long one, a big one

glue, some brushes some paint (huhuhu paint) paint i got paint in there something to cut with like a knife a marker [brown] tape preferably paper tape, but you know any type of brown paper do [ah] plastic bag yeah, plastic bag you know one of those shopping bags, [and] of course you will need cat litter and two cats one boy and one girl let's get started whoa we have to close up the box that means [we] close these flaps you see the blocks here we close them [like] that so that the box is sealed [you] take your blue

bottle you put some glue on on you know these flaps flaps you glue them together you put some tape on too you know to hold it down while it dries when it dries. i mean when it is dry. you will end up with a box like this see it's sealed closed and glued on all sides so the first thing we do is to open up a lid on top so that we can open the thing i measure here at 2 cm here make a mark 2 cm here, and then i draw a line across there, then i draw a line to show the middle if the thing is i mean the box is

50 that's 50 guys 59 long so about 24 and a half that's the middle that was wrong was it. yeah, no, it's it's [the] 29 and [a] half my brain you know went bonkers, so it's 29 and a half it's over here. yeah, that's more like it. that's that's you know half the box there and there is this why i want this half here is because i want [to] make a little handle

so when you have that we are ready for the next step and that [is] [to] make the openings or the doors for the [cats] [to] go into the toilet that is in the front here to help me [out]. i have mr.. plate, yes, mr.. play, you see i mean you can use a compass or something [run] anything [around] to help you to make a nice round shape as we did on top i draw half i have to draw a line through half the box of twenty nine [and] a half i am [not] learnt. i draw a line here one door here one door here now

i need to do half again so half again [twenty] [nine] half divided by two fourteen and a little bit, that's their way that's there so now you have four [equal] halves in the door goes a little bit closer to the to the bottom not not in the middle but a little bit closer here [4] cm from the bottom again, [ha] [ah] 4 cm from the bottom put the plate in the middle where the the middle line [is] and then draw the circle ah see a nice circle there in fact. why don't you use a marker?

it's even easier to see it and especially for you watching through my camera same thing here you put it down by the mark in the middle, okay, you got two doors for your cats to go inside. i have decided that i would like a window as well on on this side again, i get my ruler out we can do about 5 cm from the edge [to] there, and then i draw a line here then the 5 cm here and another one at the bottom so now we have this wonderful

square right in the middle of the side of the box, and then we're just [gonna] divide that in half again so that we get em a nice window with four you know for a little window window windows so 20 cm. that would be 10. yeah, that's a straight line. i measure again a 21 tall so that'll be 10 and [a] half see mommy have a pretty much a symmetrical window in the middle of this side of the box we [are] ready to cut it out. i'll start with ah

the round shapes, i can't carefully around the circle at first hey hello. yeah, very nice hole then i do the windows, but when i do the windows [i] don't cut down to this line. i cut a little bit above it about 1 cm above it like this the same on this [side], but here i cut according to the line ah nice window you see when i do this. i'll end up with [a] nice window frame right in the middle here i have one that i cut earlier fully finished cut you have the lid here you have the two openings here and a nice

window on the side look at that nice window now. we are ready for taping these edges not only don't they look [very] nice, but they're also bit fragile. [they're] not very strong as they are now therefore i have my brown paper tape here that is really quite strong, so i take off one piece at the time stick it right on the edge right in the middle like this, and i rub a bit, and then i slice it slice with regular intervals spice on the inside

because now i can tape the the edges rub the tape down so that these edges become much stronger and much neater and more beautiful looking they're a nice clean circle then i do a bit on top here, then i continue all around here this side this side on this edge that edge to win those two holes and also on the inside [i] have one over [here] that is already and taped up let me show you pour box then we are ready to do the two toilet signs remember these hey, i'll use the two circles that i just cut out i'll use the the old tape

to make a nice circle, and the tape is [just] the suitable size like this and [two] then i cut these out like this we want to paint them one blue and one pink. i'm using acrylic paints it'll dry very bright and very strong colors now one layer is not enough. i need to let it dry. then i paint the second layer [and] then the color should [be] even and strong like this and this now let's look at how [we] draw at the actual boy and girl figures

[i] start by drawing a ladder line down the middle of the circle roughly about here, and i'm using a white pencil because gray pencil will smudge the paint but a white pencil it will look quite nice. then i use a coin a little coin to draw the head, so i put the coin here draw a line around it so i have the head and then you see the shoulders are quite straight so i draw straight shoulders like this [a] little bit wider than what they need to be down to the legs here. it's about

here the legs go [all] the way down to about here then i need the the width to point four that means it's one point two on each side [of] the [midline] so it's one point two here and one point, two here so i draw a line down this way and down the width of his arms and shoulders that's four point two. so that's two point one on this side and two point one on this side

toilet signs comes in many different shapes, so of course you can research your own shape you know from where you live so how you actually draw this is really up to you you can follow me or you can design your own arms down the side and then you see there's a little gap between the body and the arms so i better draw a line in here too, and the arms are about roughly about down to the middle about here and then the legs is he having the [center] line

helps us to get everything right all the proportions and all the limbs and everything just right you see then we round off the the ends a [bit] and then we round off the shoulders a bit here you can see inside the shoulders and also on the outside [we] draw on the ears one on this side [of] the center line then we have the tail coming out from here swinging around up and curves a bit on top now let's you're still lady again, i [drew] a line down the center out with the coin

then her shoulders are a bit smaller and the dress goes down to about here and then i can [grow] a line from the top of her head down to the the end of the dress and then make sure that it's symmetrical so it's one point six on this side so it should be one point six on that side the legs round them off down [here] by the feet and then the arms they slant outwards like that following the lines of the body and then inside of the arms down to about

here that should be be about here round it off round it off by the inside the arms here by the shoulders the ears the cat ears and the tail and a little bit rounding off by the shoulders there and we are ready [to] paint here i use white acrylic paint and a very very very fine small brush. it needs to be really fine so that you can do the details well i support my hand by the table so [that] i keep it steady [you] got to follow the pencil marks all the way around you can turn you can turn the sign a bit sometimes it's easier [to] you know to paint from a different angle sometimes if i have too much paint on the brush, i roll it a bit like this [so] [that] i sharpened the point

before i continue then i do that ears and finally the tail, okay? sorry a little accident, but never mind. i will fix that later i'll show [you] how because it's bound to happen sooner or later, okay there now i need to let these dry and then i put on the second coat so i'll be right back [ooh] [starting] on the second coat. can you see the difference from here to here? this is much more solid that's why you need two layers, then you continue like [that] all the way up and then when you've done that you bring out your pink again

whatever mix steak you've done you touch it up white pencil marks look how easy it is to remove them you disco that is it's gone at least it's gone when the paint [dries] [so] you touch all that up like? here here oops need a little bit more paint and if you do a really good job, you will end up with better one like that you do that for both the boy, [and] the girl and you will have a beautiful cat couple like this now let's stick them on the box bit of glue at the bottom here same thing on the lady and roughly about there

i think i'll stick on a little bit of tape to hold them down while they dry now we are ready to decorate the box a little bit with pink and blue colors so we bring back the paint here. we start with a blue circle around the [boy's] room here [whoo-hoo] then i do the pink next i'll add some decorative spots pink on the ladies side and blue on the boys side now let's get this toilet to ready for action for [that] we've a plastic bag we cut it up along the side so [that] we end up with a plastic bag like [a] sheet like this

put that at the bottom of the toilet pull it in up in here and lines and neat before we add their cats, and now some people like [to] use newspaper at the bottom that's also very good now where's my cats and yellow cats [ah] yes? and this is really good cats and and you know to absorb the stuff at the bottom there after the cat a [sabine] pooping then it's easy to take out you see i can get these in sort of normal you know animal stores wow it's heavy push it out into the corners. [oh] about this much sand will will do i'm gonna cut two little little

tiny cuts here on the side of the box about 1 cm down. oh yes, okay? yeah this will learn need now they'll be really happy [okay], [and] remove the tape like that, and then wait wait wait, wait. yeah tying the ribbon we gotta have an official opening ceremony for our cat toilet. and i here by declare this [uhh]. really wonderful very modern cat toilet for open boys and girls toilet is ready for some pooping action okay? enjoy.
