your bedroom should feel really warm andinviting and the easiest way to do that is to layer a lot textures. so in this case, i brought in anupholstered headboard instead of wood or iron because clearly it's just a lot softerand it's more inviting. and then i'd layered on textures. thinkabout pillows, throw pillows and blankets at the end of the bed. for seniors, think about using contrastingcolors for those with low vision. so we use a teal wall, contrasting withthe white headboard, contrasting with the orange blanket, so everything is a lot easier to see.
