there’s more than one way to give wood anaged finish, and one of our favorites is with a pickling wash. we’ve got the scoop on the simple technique,and some project ideas too, so let’s get started. pickling washes work a lot like wood stains. brush on the wash, wait 30 seconds, and thenwipe off the excess. as you can see, the wash adds color, but itlets the natural wood grain show through. you can create a layered effect by brushingon additional colors…or use grain enhancer to really define the wood grain.
