hi, i'm ann myrick, and today i'm going toshow you how to pick out art work for the bedroom, and in my opinion, it's wide open.it really has to do with what you like. it has to do with the style of the bedroom. ithas to do with formal, informal, and do you like kind of getting out of the box and usingdifferent things, or do you just like staying with art work and frames. i'm a decorator,so i really like getting out of the box. i have some great old shutters. these just bringa whole element to the room just like they are. i love using dark and black pieces becauseit grounds the room, and kind of anchors a room. i loved the kind of stripped, bumpedlook, shabby chic look. so, like i would take these and you could separate them and putthem side by side, or you could, you could

put them on the wall going down, or goingacross, but they're just great pieces to use. also, love using art work from the children.one where i love groupings. the best way to do a picture grouping is to use like colorof frame. i will always usually choose a black frame. i just like the way black pops offa wall. i love black thick frames. these were just small, inexpensive frames, and this isjust kind of a grouping of my son. a picture of my son and then two pieces of art work,so i kind of put like subjects together. love in a room where you have one big picture,then on the next wall, instead of having another big picture, you want maybe a grouping ofthree. switch it up, don't just have square picture, square picture, square picture. havearchitectual pieces. have crosses, have a

metal star, have something, have old architectualpieces that kind of mix it up, and have it create interest. instead of one mirror onthe wall, put two mirrors on the wall. instead of, what you could do with mirror idea isyou could use it like you would a head board, as far as have two identical mirrors square,and put one here and one here, like over each pillow. those are ideas for your bedroom.this is ann myrick, and that's how to pick out art work.
