hey guys, bianca here for mf home tv. i'm here to talk to you about the latest interior design trends, and to give youtips on easy and fun home decorating. if you're a student living in a dorm or abusinessman living in a small apartment in the city, then you know the strugglesof small rooms. once you finally get to fit everything that you need in yourspace, sometimes it looks a little cluttered. so today we're going to talkabout how to make a small space look bigger. the goal of the small space isto always make a functional, but it has to be inviting and chic at the same time.so we can start with color, if you have a small space, lots of color it can beoverwhelming.
you need to stick to one color family,preferably a neutral or something and decorate in different shades of thatcolor. another thing that makes the room lookbigger is sheer curtains. let the light in! floor length sheer curtains will make the room appear taller and more spacious. and they give off a very light and airy feeling. you'll want to stay away fromdark and heavy curtains. and when it comes to choosing furniture pick piecesthat have legs. because the more floor space we see, the bigger the space feels. you can also add floor-to-ceiling
