behr paint colors for bedroom
applying a gray paint using home depot ultra i am using the laser level set to the height i want for the line. i make sure that i paint above the line. the black stripe will be painted within this area. i really paint this fast.....hahahaha!!! it was tough to see the laser line with the lights on. i'm italian - i talk with my hands. when i'm painting it is tough for those listening to me to understand what i am saying. i waited for the paint to dry. then i grab the yellow frog tape (link to amazon is below in the comments and description) and follow the laser line. this part was tough to get a straight line. just be patient and be willing to rip the tape off and start over again. like that - but the tape came off cause i was pulling to hard.
i'm double checking that the laser line is level then i apply a lot of pressure to the top of the line on the tape to ensure that it is stuck to the paint well so i don't get any bleed through. i moved the laser beam and now i am continuing the line. i moved the laser beam up by raising my tripod up. i lock the tripod in place so it maintains that vertical height. now i'm applying the yellow frog tape to the top. the black paint will be painted in between these lines. once i'm satisfied with the tape i grab the black paint. using a mini roller here. it is perfect for this job. once the paint is dried i pull the yellow frog tape off of the wall to reveal the most awesome paint job. hahaha!!! there were a couple of spots like in the corners where i had some bleed through. thank you for watching. please subscribe. please comment. and hit that like button if you liked it.
