hi everyone if you wonder why i'm filming in a mirror it's because today we're gonna do an office tour, so i did plan on doing a makeup tutorial but my skin is still like not feeling good from the hannah cure mask so i figured i'd just do this instead so let's get started so first thing you see when you walk into the office is the desk and i couldn't find a desk that was really what i wanted without being super expensive so i just cobbled something together for my keya stuff, so this is a linen top. i forget what these legs are but you have to have legs that extend to be able to do this setup and

then that is the calyx or collects or whatever and i just put two of the drawers in it and switched out the knobs and then i got some i got the two little gold baskets from ikea and then that i think i got it fred meijer and that i got at target so i've got lots of storage in here and also there are two kind of boxes right there, that's used to keep stuff that i don't get or that i don't need that often so it can stay in there and on top of my desk. i have this which is my second attempt at making an orchid terrarium but i don't think that i cleaned it outright because it's now getting super moldy and the springtails aren't doing their job

and i've already checked the springtails are alive. they're just not doing their job and the other one i have is almost exactly the same just a different container, and it seems to be doing fine so i don't know what the deal is with this one and i have like my little pencil area bills i always have to have chocolate next to me because it's the only thing that keeps me motivated water with lemon, but usually i have a coffee cup here i'm trying to be better and this is just a place to you know hang things up that i need to keep to access yeah that i need to have access to and this my daughter made at her school so it has a place of honor cuz she wanted to feel like she was helping me decorate

and then these are just two frames that i got from dollar store that i haven't printed anything to put in them yet so there's my actual like desktop that i'm not actually using i use this more often for my computer but this is going to have an imac later in the year i'm going to invest in an imac and i'm gonna mount it to the wall so that i still have all of this space that i can work off of and i'm still trying to find something like a keyboard tray that swings out like this instead of swinging out like that so wish me luck and this little guy was about 16

maybe $15 on amazon and it is a lot more heavy-duty than i anticipated like i don't know if you can see that but it's like a really heavy metal right there, so this socket is really heavy metal this is super hardcore like i don't feel like anything's getting through this guy so this was actually a pretty nice find and i thought it was just gonna be this kind of throwaway thing that i'd replace at some point, but no it's good then over here, so this was my moment of brilliance i needed some sort of rig - let's see let it focus yeah i needed some sort of rig to have backdrops behind my desk for when i'm filming makeup stuff but i was like i don't want to like actually

put a big backdrop stand here or like mount something ugly so i got a dell and two little wooden knobs and i glued it all together with wood glue and spray painted it gold so that it would kind of blend and these two little guys i got from i think joanne's and they were like seven bucks. i had a 40% off coupon for i think i think it might have been 25% off the whole thing and 40% off of one regularly priced item so one of those was half off plus 25% off so that was a really good deal and now i have this awesome backdrop thing eventually. i want to put some string lights across or like maybe do another i don't know like some sort of photo thing like maybe put some wire there and pin some photos

but yeah for now it looks really good, and it was super cheap and then there's my two white boards with things that i be doing and then this is just photos that i like and random things that i found when i was unpacking and era, my curtains just ikea curtains two of the the kind of cheapo ones and then that is just pipe and flanges and connectors so all of that. i made myself because i

couldn't find anything that i like which is usually the way it goes with me. i can't find anything. i like that i just make it myself and then instead of doing a usual tie back. i used a coat hanger from world market and that seems to be working out pretty well and most of the time these were open anyway i only really need shade at the top because that's when the sun is out that's when it comes in really really hard so as long as i have kind of the top portion blocked off the bottom doesn't really matter and then there's my kitchen and then this i got from ikea, and it's it has four coat hooks which is awesome. it's a little pricey. i think it was like 20 bucks, but it's

magic so i can hold so much stuff on this, it's that's just what i was looking for and then we've got this area over here which i'm still working on filling it because i got rid of a lot of like my business oriented books so i only have three books so i'm still looking for like books that i can actually use that will motivate me these two are from ikea but i got them on craigslist like four i think one was 15 and one was 20 and i just painted them so they're the exact same thing just with paint on them and i will say that i didn't paint them very well, because i start to get lazy after a while

and i just kind of spray it as hard as i can just to get a good coat on but you know they look pretty good from a distance and really they don't look horrible it's just i'm quite picky and then this mirror is heavy duty i got it on craigslist for like 50 bucks, and i just painted the outside super easy and it's a heavy duty like really nice mirror. that's gonna hold up well these two little guys here are trimmings from other plants that we and that was $2.00 that i think was three but both of them were seriously discounted because they look like crap like apparently they were just running out of room in their pots and they needed to be

marked down and sold immediately so i got both of them, and this guy is doing really well this guy is still trying to come around. that's my fern i'm usually good with ferns, so i'm hoping that i can bring him back and here i have a another frame with nothing in it and it's like how my witchy section so i've got my pyramid my illuminati shit and this is so my father died when i was really young and this is one of the things that was in his box of stuff that he had that mom got when he was

deceased so i'm not entirely sure what this is, but i know that it had some sort of memory for him so i like to keep it out these are like my hair stuff some little yoga stuff and all the rest of that is self-explanatory so over here, i am trying to get back into collecting old cameras because i like not i don't care if they work i just really love the look of them, so those are my three and

i made myself a little bouquet and some fun parts that ripley is always playing with she likes to act like she's playing poker with them and then this is going to be probably more books or like a magazine section but you know that is what it is for right now so these two are what informed all of my decisions about this room i started with those and absolutely nothing else so i got these on urban outfitters, and they were kind of pricey but i feel like they really gave me a vision and that's it's kind of worth it when you think of it that way everything else i tried to get as much on discount as i possibly could but these two were not on discount and they're beautiful. they're

just the right color for kind of what i was thinking that i was going to go for so that that was my really extravagant purchase for this off and this lamp came from world market and i just had to find a way to string it up which was a little bit more difficult because it's hard to find wiring to fit that kind of lamp, so i had to make it myself which was not fun but you know it got the job done and i haven't left the house on fire yet, so i feel like i'm okay. oh, why are hanging things? and then this is my couch, so this is an ikea couch however

i got the bulk of it from craigslist for two hundred and fifty dollars which is a lot off? the only part that i had to purchase was the corner part and obviously the cover but it had a crazy amount of pillows with it because it was missing that corner piece so i got to have the full backing here instead of just having like the ikea version has one pillow one pillow one pillow which leaves these big gaps? i hate it, but that's their business not mine, and i think these pillows both of them, i think came from kohl's maybe these came from overstock, but i was so lucky to find

these pillows that are exactly the same shade as these poof's and my husband bought them for me for christmas so yay and i have my starting of my gallery wall i got this from an artist sarah hayes, and i thought it was really fun it's the first thing that i saw in her list of like hey i'm trying to sell these paintings, and i was like oh my god i need that even like just saying the thumbnail of it i was like that is ridiculous, and i loved it so it's called selfie, and it is a portrait so and then i have some other stuff and then this was and this is still kind of a work in progress, but this is kind of my closet flash makeup storage slash

utility slash probably storage so these two i got on craigslist because i knew i was gonna paint them i didn't want to pay full price for something that i was already going to like change or a lot i changed out the casters to be a lot more heavy-duty. i painted both of them a bright white instead of a dark white and/or

not a dark white a bright white instead of kind of like a cream color like most of the ikea stuff is and then i spray painted the front of these, but eventually i'm going to put gold leaf on them so that's just like a later project but i wanted to spray-paint them so that even if i don't have gold leaf covering the whole thing it looks uniform these are not even close to organized yet, so i'm not going to get into it i have like my little jewelry section, and then i put this i think it's a lack something like that i put this up so that i could have more vertical storage there but obviously it's only gonna be like lighter stuff like i have my mirror there and my last story from house of lashes but that will probably be i'm gonna try to get

more useful less decorative with it so if i can like put my wigs up there or if i can you know have something that i use every single day up there like maybe i'd switch this over to this like in the center. i don't know. i haven't figured it out yet the other thing that i want to do is get a big kind of tabletop for these two so that i can use it like as a real table because right now lots of things fall back there and also like that crack doesn't make it super useful to use as a big surface so i think i'm probably gonna have to get a big piece of mdf board and just create something myself so he'll be doing that in the future and in the center is my ikea bark art that i actually got to hope to hold my baby stuff when ripley was just born and this thing is magic so hey

i shoved all of my makeup stuff that i use every single day and when i do makeup tutorials i just load it up with the stuff that i need and roll it over to the desk and then it comes right back so i don't have to leave stuff out constantly and have things be messy and cluttered which i really love and then i have some storage stuff for later projects and videos i made this out of pipe and i basically just didn't want to have to pay a whole bunch for something that i knew that i could make myself and that would look better so i still need to kind of touch up the paint in places, but i'm pretty happy with it

and it's really sturdy like all of this is real cedar and that is in - i think there was even a stud behind that so it's not coming down anytime soon and then this is like my little storage area for my camera equipment i've rigged up a little power strip therefore if i have to charge batteries, so that's really convenient, and then i have like backdrop random camera stuff that i don't need all the time, but that i want to keep handy i have some wigs and a hat box there, and i have i believe i have my airbrush there and then i've got some like random things like my mic stands like the stands that i use on a regular basis are gonna. be there my cameras are usually here, but i just film so there nots and
