the jordan dining chair is one of our signaturedining chairs. it’s handmade in italy and was a bestsellerfrom the moment we introduced it. i think people really respond well to itsoverall style and comfort. it has a great, graceful style to it, i loveall the intricate scrollwork that’s on the back, the little finial details are a reallynice touch, but yet, it still has a nice, clean leg, so you can really make it workin a variety of decors. it’s also extremely comfortable, it hasa really nice, well-padded seat, and the back has also a really curved back that reallysits and hugs your back in a really comfortable way when you’re sitting in it.

so the jordan chair is available in six finishes. we have actually stocked two of them: we stockthe rubbed black, and we stock catina bassano. it’s also available in ivory, old englishwalnut, a solid black - which basically instead of having the rub-through, it’s more ofa solid look for those who don’t want the more distressed black look. it’ll still have a little rub-through onthe edge, however. and worn black - and the worn black is partof our artisan finish line so it’s an extra upcharge because it’s such a heavily textured,time-intensive finish. there are many options available for the jordandining chair.

you have the side chair that we have shownhere, it’s also available in an armchair. we also offer a counter and a barstool, andboth the counter and the barstools are swivel. so another great thing about the jordan diningchair is that it is part of the arhaus dining chair program, which means you have over 70designer fabrics that you can select at no additional charge to put on the seat. also, if you decide over time that you wantto change your look, you can bring the seat back to a store, reselect a fabric, and fora charge, we will go ahead and re-cover the seat for you. there’s a lot of work that goes into makinga jordan dining chair.

it’s a very, very intensive process, andit’s really a special process that really illustrates the quality and the care that’sput into the making of this chair. the chair completely made out of solid andveneer beech. this is a great wood, it’s hardwood, butit also has a really light graining pattern, so it does take stain and finishes very, verywell. and again, this is made in italy, so there’sa lot of attention and a lot of care that’s placed on the actual finishing. these people really, really pride themselveson the way that they finish furniture.
