hey it's chet from international furniture. have a great opportunity. i have max from our bdm group of companiesstopping in at ifw today. he's going to give you a bit of informationabout the company and why we love them so much. so thank you max for stopping in today. um, max has been with the company now for..... 3 years, i have been there for 3 years. in the main factory and the factory in quebecactually. so the bdm group makes midi dining room setsfor us.
um, can you tell us a little bit about thefactory? the history of the company. it is a great canadian company we're veryproud to be part of. exactly! we are from quebec actually so a canadiancompany. we've been around for more than 30 years actually. and we're proud to supply all dealers in canadaand the us. and we use most, mainly the birch productsfrom north america. so all of our products are made and builtby canadian people.
that's cool! so the construction. we love the canadian story. um, can you tell us a little more about theconstruction? the finish. the, um, you know, what makes a midi tablesuch a great family investment, heirloom piece as you would say. of course! well, one of our specialties are chairs.
so the chair construction we have is one ofmore solid into the industry. we have mortgage and tenant with finger and grooves so each of our chairs frame is guaranteed for 10 years. so it something we stand apart. after that we have the catalized finish madefrom valscor. only to us. so it's a baked finish we use on every ourproducts. so it means that your table is not going toscratch or anything in the next years. fantastic! and, um, so construction is there, the qualityis there.
can you tell us a little bit about customization? what options we can offer to the customer? of course. well, with midi you have every choice you wantbasically because we own every company in the making of the tables. so, you can do pretty much every size youwant. we have more than 50 different size, differenttable top thickness and, uh, you can basically choose from 100 of finishes. you can choose legs, pedestals, and prettymuch what you want.
