round wood dining room table
creating a round african blackwood/wenge lunch table this is african blackwood(or wenge) yes, thats the same lumberi used for the lounge table i am going to make its big sister,a round lunch table for hansres i started by removing the liveedges from the three slabs then i ran all slabs through the jointerto remove all twists then i used the planer to makethem flat and of even height i cut holes for dominos i glued the three pieces together
using this wonderful oldgigantic clamp i drilled a hole in thecenter of the workpiece i placed a router compass i cut a thin mark into thewood with the router with a jigsaw i cut along this mark(yeah, go ahead, judge me!) using a long router bit iremoved the jigsaw cutlines that way the router git ripsout less junks of wood andthe edge gets much nicer i sanded the tabletop with80, 120 and 180 grit paper i attached steel bars with wood screws
i took a scrap piece from theouter piece of the circle, sanding paper and double sided tape i built a sanding block to sand the edges attaching socket screws to attach the steel legs treating bottom side with mineral oil sanding top with 240 grit paper sanding all edges by hand
applying rubio monocoat thats it!if you liked this video please subscribe
