this master bedroom is likea cozy cocoon of color, meant to lull you right to sleep. [music playing] the walls are paintedin a warm charcoal gray. that while it's stillan edgy neutral, it is also very calming. the tailored white bedis a great contrast that looks crisp and cleanagainst the wall color. different shades of bluesbring in just enough color
to add interest, butnot overpower the space. i use the color blueto bridge the sleeping area and the sitting areathere's maybe an indigo on the bed and floor, then a popof cobalt on the chaise lounge. now, the colors don'tnecessarily match. but they're all withinthat same cool family. and that is what makesthis bedroom work. the seating area looksout over great views to the outdoorspaces, which are also
accessible throughthe sliding doors. artwork is anotherelement in this room that adds a lot of interest. i've hung a white featherafrican headdress, added colorful abstracts. and even the sculpturalsconces that i picked out look like artwork in here. this master bedroomhas everything it needs to be welldesigned, and also
designed for deep relaxation.
