the best house decorations

exclusive.. here we go hey guys what are you doing in there? huh, well uh i've been cleaning the house. we could do a house tour. maybe want to start that right now *music* i wanted to do the house tour yet because not decorated at all nothing something. we haven't even done one thing on the wall i want to do some painting [i] have a few pieces of furniture in the garage i mean a lot of [it's] not put together but davey said the newness is wearing off

so we have to do it, so let's go it. you guys will just get to see the rest as it happens so here we go. we are in the kitchen right now obviously because you guys were hiding in the fridge oh what you're thinking um this is the kitchen so yeah, we just did kind of boring everything white, but you know i really like how bright it is it feels so bright in here. oh i will hold it for you um so yeah, everything just kind of gray and white and

sober, but i really like it, and i think i might do a backsplash. [i] don't know do you thought there'd of a color? so then i was like? oh, let's do a white backsplash you guys think that's bad idea she was crying last night afraid of colors [so] like i'm afraid of colors no, that's not true, but i do want to paint colors on these chairs. i want to do like four different oh, [oh] that might be crazy one of them will be the same color is that table? like an orange a yellow and a blue what do you guys think i don't know green orange yellow blue and then amber has a birthday imitation, but don't show them this side just this side. oh wow embrace, okay? let's talk about this hutch thing

we got this on castle and did your sister painted it and i wouldn't got knobs from hobby lobby you might remember this [huts] from i had to say a prayer to get another man to lift it and he showed up that this is the hutch and i put contact paper? oh yes my sister painted it she had a contact paper and i kind of like the color of the contact paper because it kind of ties into the rug over there so this is the dining room table. i think tits off [ksl]. like if you know, okay, fellas [it's] kind of like a craigslist for you tonight. [oh] like people sell her all up on it for cheap i got this whole table and eight chairs for her [bustling] now these are the wrong shape i paid i'll show you how they work just [fine] roman shades

diy yeah, they're they're fun. i really like them i think they worked out good, and it was nice to not have to stress about what we were gonna do for windows covering threat? we moved in we put all those in right before we went to play this live boom boom boom boom boom we had them all done it was easy. that was the easy part hanging them was the hard part april making. i'm [32] marks so yeah sean this sink look every. we can fit a whole child in there let's save amber. can fit sit down is this your mini bath, huh? sit down let c be a fit. oh

wow, oh did i want to get a dress but what's it called the farmhouse farm sink? yeah? i love it [giggle] doggles don't coffins dougela. oh look oh one thing to dishwasher um have a third left on the top for like knives and spatulas and baby bottle with i love it, and you can make it to different heights, just by turning this around oh like it gives you a little bit more room for cups underneath see a high and a low so i like that a lot um whoa? what's that a double oven you've always wanted purple

yeah, we're really excited hope you guys are not bored already boring not bored anymore. hey was that our lush. oh yeah, you want to get little girl. i will be the witch from the candy house story, remember hansel and gretel okay, shove you in the oven the candy house story. you know that one every kid every. i'm totally kidding but look something on that we have a little country, but it's a pantry that's a pantry how does a light in it for pete's sake

that's all of our junk. there you go we have this thing hold i gotta tell you about this middle burger guys all of our appliances are lg and i did that because i wanted them to match this thing is like a beast it boils water in like three minutes or fast so like a huge like almost as soon as you turn it on its boiling not that fast but it's like called super boil and it water so fast um [annika] nfl since we love the nfl why is this doing in here?

does that make your head feel better [lea] it's supposed to go by the bananas it bruises the bananas actually this [feels] really good. i'm just gonna use this no that's very go put this in okay, next term next jim wait. no where does this go what it goes right by the boobs. that's not what we're putting it that's not even right okay next room welcome to the living room this is where we live in this room. that's why they're called living room so this is my favorite thing [at] this [rug], and i bought this rug i'll tell you about this rug this rug what yes this rug was purchased this whole house was designed after this rug pretty much like she bought this yet a long time ago sawdust is getting stuck in it because the basement [is] getting finished for you guys

so you guys can have hair videos for us too, but a lot for this alone. that's why we're rushing it i don't think we would have finished the basement for years if we didn't have to get a salon [des] but then we kept saying oh, we're doing the salon as well, just do it smooth. oh and just get it done. so we're doing that um this is [davey's] tv 4k 4k [i] wanted like [e4] [3d] [4k] makes pancakes can solve all your problems, [i] wanted like a thousand inch tv, but i had to keep my size down so we could decorate on the sides yeah blue vase am i doing stuff? i like that and try to say it's a it's a sony

it's a super the picture looks amazing on it blows your face off um fireplace sit down [with] the fireplace remote control. yeah, this is really cool. there is no switch on the walls like you can mount this onto your wall or it has a magnet on it but the magnet kind of just holds the remote in there but look it has everything by remote you can even turn them pile it on [and] off like in the [summertime] when you don't want a little bit [fury] you just push that snowflake button

and it puts it in winter mode when i was a boy we had to get coal and wood and make fires now you deal with the push of a button i don't what goal is that not [the] same thing? no, you what it's the same. it's hot and it's [awesome]. anda has a battery backup if electricity goes out. you can still have heat so yeah, and then i painted this this was black. it's for my kia, but i wanted it to tie into the rug [so] [i] [do] the yellow and this is a little angry when [she] was all. oh, i love that bitch isis, okay? that's enders age right now you guys do that that [afra] remind you of enders hair except for shorter?

they kind of look like i don't know we've got this vault in here. we've got it. that's the timeout chair up there we need to put a sign that says timeout his chair blender. we gotta take care of that boy i'm not sure they know you're joking that's not real. i stole some boom we would never put a child up there [wow], i don't even want to make that joke anymore because i think [this] [aids] gonna be like oh it's already tried to get us gotten up there. no. we're good. now. he's tried. we're gonna put some peppers or sticky rat traps [who's] gonna say decorations up [there]? i think [if] the kids got up there they'd get punished okay. what's our next room on [the] [tour]? [it]

cuz this is embarrassing when you go to guest house, and then like hips go poo. there's all poo pourri so make sure your guest bathroom has some back because it's just embarrassing this was a big deal these bathrooms on the main level in our house our old house we had this was until [break] the main level we had no bathrooms and potty training this one here so she's going back and get belly potty training her up a flight of stairs. it was a lot of work we're about to sit down to dinner and oh i gotta go [pee] [daddy] and every time we sat down to dinner she had to go pee and she pee her pants going up the stairs every day, so now we've got three bathrooms on the main level

now that won't happen again, okay, laundry room you ready um yeah, this is a little scary you guys don't judge us yet, okay? welllet me just tell you the whole laundry situation in the entire house is a mess right now because when we lived with our family i have all the winter clothes that we needed packed away and i couldn't find them so the kitchen is for summer clothes all winter and i tried to just bundle them up and just make it work and now all their clothes don't fit him anymore because it's been eight [months] and i have to find all the other clothes and the new clothes and switch everything out [but] then the girls don't have a dresser and their closets full of clothes they don't fit in and i just have to switch draw [and] so all the hangers were used up and so

it's a big mess so i haven't even gotten my laundry back down because of the hanger situation because of the dresser situation because [of] the clothes situations to mess we're not going to tell you [our] entire laundry system that i just because of the length of the video will show you that in a separate video? but basically part of it is hanging the clothes right out of the dryer so we did the shelf extra high in here so that we requested that the be higher so you can hang it right out of the dryer oh in the standard houses that they built they just would put that like the shelf [at] right here [useless] so that you could get we can only put that on there and then the second you hang up

and then it would have this rod on it like they put the rod on it, so only like a little tiny baby shirts coming there anything else is just ridiculous so we were like put it up where we [can] hang clothes on it can see what let's move on okay? let's go devi skin board. no. i'm not bored we got a lot to show still let's go, okay. let's say i mean, so let's show you kind of the tour we go from here. let's go [up] the loft no, we stay [on] the main level. okay. look i got this rig friend, entryway yesterday little garden i love it and i'm gonna paint this the same color as the table in the kitchen the green i decided [cuz] you guys have and the piano

christmas tree room decorated it all [in] straight this is her anger or gather or don't oh yeah, yeah, april's grandpa's piano that i tried to not have [it] anymore, but it's in the family [and] we moved it numerous times had she refinished it she painted this whole thing. how about that i [had] to take this apart in like 60 different pieces and painted each individually and stand at several times like i spent a lot of time on this piano it needs to be washed because it's been neglected and it needs to be tuned

and i'm gonna do a stencil like all the way up to the ceilings so if we showed you guys this wall the ceiling this is so good. oh it's the door the active door. yeah. it's a really high stick i got blurry okay, so yeah, that's the ceiling up in here goes away. i bet i can get like a 50-foot tree. [uh] 50 foot, i'm 20 that's wrong 20, but i think that still stay [to] like a 12 foot, but we could probably take up the room though. it's not a huge room it's just like a room [that] we can try to keep nice. which is funny because it's the only room i haven't even tried to decorate yeah, it's the home teacher's room. we need to have it look nice so i want to paint that wall white and then have like a yellow

stencil on it. this is the rock that we fought over. i wanted to show you guys that right there, it's beautiful worth the fight, i think um, so this is the entryway i kind of already showed you this table? let's go down here. oh, this is typical closets coat closet back. i am boardgames this our hallway and look this is like the best thing open what [there] [is] room last? helpings up right here. i love it. we were so one [final] table, and i like that my foreign exchange student myself [send] me this it's a picture of norway it's some pretty ominous, but right here

subject love it. [i] might put it in the kitchen i really love it. yeah. here's another bathroom for potty training. this is like the bathroom that we shaved under it at night yes, and i got this [fun] rug from target so [lunches] [i] just want to sleep on it it is nice to have the memory foam by the toilet my [fingers] so tired peeing like it just takes so long so it's nice to have the memory foam now, that's tmi and weird [um] this is a linen closet in the bathroom, and this is something that i changed on the floor plan because the way architects suggested yeah, well we added on four feet on this [side] of the house so we were able to add two feet into this bathroom then to the end of the hall and

the two fee in this bathroom is like well now you have room for a linen closet so i was like go for it because it was going to be in here and it was going to take up half of this bedroom closet but that's when mommy and daddy got married that was on our top of our cake should we show everybody this average is found [elphaba] and its sponsors there it is there's doctors to newest okay. this is the office slash future baby's room soon as i get the downstairs finished the office will go downstairs. it's a mess in here don't judge it when we have another baby. yes enter in here actually oh, and oregon here future, baby

we'll go in there um so yeah this closet would have been a lot smaller or the [whole] bedroom even smaller because i had the linen closet out in the hall and then this closet was popped out [so] this room would have been like this much by this much smaller if we hadn't added on the square footage so anyway how we changed that will say [vendor's] room for last we don't want to wake him. yeah, okay, i? do his room and just say it looks exactly like that one yeah in case we don't do danders room because he's sleeping. it looks pretty much like that one. he's amanda this is [our] big master bat bedroom holy cow you guys i'm actually really sad that i didn't take two feet out of this room because massive

i mean, we'll use it that we can do [i] russell i like to have wrestle fights in the master bedroom with the kids our old house where we had like a big open space at the bottom and we liked so we kind of were like let's do that again, but i'll show you in here wait april [is] validate we kind of showed you that the other day, but she has a place to sit [down] [and] [do] her makeup because i remember to put it on because i'm doing my makeup and i'm looking at it so what works out better for me to have it all like that and this is our new best friend. i want to get some fun colored pillows or old pillows well

i put a different chair like a big cozy chair in this corner, but that one's okay, too. i guess okay master master bathroom now. here's the thing [number] housing i wanted to take to see out of that room it's because the main thing is our closets so in the floor plan this wall was only supposed to go to here for like the flu for the furnace and then we added on the [attic] the loft area we had to get hvac the heating cooling tubes. that are like this big up to the attic space and we put it in our closet whoo i'm like wishing that we could have found a different place to put it, but that's where it is

it's in our closet and it took up like four feet by [three] feet like you can only have like this weird offered a base back the dead hole i'll put my clothes back [that] black hole that's i meant the black hole like davy doesn't even wear his clothes. he wears like three things they're more like souvenirs so it but i like to hang [on] [to] him so they'll just go back in that corner black hole this closet i would have added two feet in here if i would have known this was gonna happen so fail on edges part for not writing this into the plans properly [solution] double sinks yeah

this is actually a big deal [for] us - we've never had double sinks we've always been fighting over brushing teeth and washing hands and gettin away. [oh] no its private pooper, and this is really nice to have craig to pursue and if you guys want to know the a can't run hot over camera in hot water to [be] right here but then you kick it out yeah, can so we'll figure that out later, but just regular toilet and it would be warm water because they would it mixes it in keeps if you're breaking anyway this is a private poker and like more [perfidy] he okay the master tub. this was a big deal for me i love taking bubble baths you guys you got a look at plenty of room for party baths amber shawn check it out

i strain my legs relax. there's not many tubs. i can like straighten my legs in it's a nice tub devi constraint his legs he sits in that car goes this way like it is like a hot tub you guys know this is one [of] my favorite things but we ended up getting kind of a small shower that's the other thing the other two feet that i added into the closet could have been two more feet in the shower. oh regrets, i'm wishing that i would have thought of that before we actually started building. [oh] well we shower like the top of more important to me anyways, so whatever this yes, and stop a little remote the other day to her vanities so we couldn't do anything with the electrical that we didn't [me] [too] because davey just hooked like a plug in plug into a vanity light and a remote oh, i love it. come on

yeah, yeah, [that'd] break yours embree will let you know and i can paint the dresser okay, staircase head nap to the loft what did i read? oh look at the [rugs]? so cute okay? hey bookshelf from ikea? okay, bookshelf. [i] love that this is like up and out of the way not in the main part of the house yeah can get messy but i love the kids like having it right here because they've been reading so much more about all these books and starts like it's our library. i'm buy more books i want to just fill this completely full this is all the sport games

we can do those down at the basement and have a whole nother room. [god] of course ender's game my favorite book series ever [working] the glory breaking dawn all those [ok] toy room. maybe a tv van maybe not i don't know i don't know what we're going to say yeah, i will make it cute our toys something found her. maybe a big that's not really kick gonna. show me a room. okay. this is amber's room she's pretty excited about it tambri tom [more] your bed is where do you sleep? every has the big bed. which is kind of funny because she's the smaller and she's got her name, but yeah we didn't want to put her [on] the top level not safe for the little girl

and it worked out good because she'd wake up and scared in the middle of the night sometimes and i could go in there and lay buyer and not have to be like on the little toddler bed falling off actually yeah, daisy needs her we got a better name up. [then] still decent sized closet is deeper that looks yeah? that's fish, okay? oh see we have issues what we have to declutter a lot, but we'll take care of that. okay [on] to zade's room nope, we need to finish showing you that i actually really love having like a toy room some the [toya] and the kids room in social to marilyn toys in the kitchen and we go in there, and you couldn't you like get past their fantas kids bathroom?

so here's nick bannin [dirty] holy [guess] look [at] this oreo whoa, that's the soft wire coming out? well, no, we have the water softener and all that water taniya bubbles and all the pipes well somebody that saw our video was asking they're like what's hard water like you mean? i know you probably don't live in a place where there's aa hard water, but it's [i] don't really get soft softener yeah like it just has mineral deposits in it and some areas have a lot more than others and

this area has a lot like my hair was sticking to my scalp and just heavy [selfie] [scum] gross ness and now it's starting [to] finally feel better, but here's the bathroom bathroom. i like that. it's separate so if somebody's taking a bath they can be brushing their teeth i could say it'll be in the shower sometimes, but the girls may be getting ready for bed so they can be out here brushing and it works out good. so here's said's [room] bedroom got the slide bed still he has already put little stickers oliver. yeah, he's got the glow-in-the-dark [constellations] his alligators from where daddy likes them and here's some cute eyes natural causes when he was [-] like baby and rosie's

so cute and he's he's got really bad evil eyes cheeks and reminds me in this picture about that, okay slide or [swing] [bed]. i guess yard and the swings this yard coming soon. i love that, okay let's do a quick tour of the basement and that will conclude our tour [view] going down oh i have to tell you about the flooring in here it's one of the best decisions. i've ever made my life. oh well memory will pay your dresser in a minute [bars] like not about family thing

what as far as like marrying me like [oh] like yeah, the best decisions of my life or day me and my kids [one] though this flooring is from mannington, and it's called historic oak and the ash and i love it. here's why? it feels like real wood like it has his little or little grooves it looks like real [wood] and it has texture looks like real wood feels like real wood i guess it does have like a pattern repeat. so it kind of doesn't look like exactly real wood but i don't care it's beautiful and here's my favorite part about it. you can walk [through] [it] with like shoes on whatever you don't see footprints [i] have not seen one dusty footprint or shiny footprint or anything

it hides so well and i've gone into other people's houses that have different wood flooring and you like step on it and there's a white footprint and that's really really hard because you have to clean [it] like all the time i just [like] take [dry] [mop] and sweep up the crumbs every couple days or every day like every [morning] every [night] but i haven't really had to even mop it. yeah like it looks beautiful. [i] am still happy with this morning if you guys are trying to think of flooring don't even hesitate to go with this because it's one of the best decisions. [you've] made on the house wait real quick i got to show you the garage before we go downstairs it's a mess and it is not organized yet, but i will be taking care of that soon

[um] yeah, so we've got two cars start we'll be able to fit the van in the expedition here room for the boat indoor storage that was the big reason why i had a problem with our old neighborhood there was an hoa, and i couldn't even store my boat on my property [so] that was a big deal but then we have some extra storage in the back fourth car for all our junk, which we need to get rid of but okay, so that's the garage love it way excited oh, and i got a toolbox this thing

yes put all my manly tools in so let's go see the basement we gotta get colonel mustard out. i took a first bin yesterday. she still runs chrome mustard. she's still good colonel why can't colonel be a girl i? would say boy okay to the basement. [it's] kind of dark they did the electricity in the plumbing [and] so [it's] right on this side of the house yeah, so here's the bathroom. we got the top put in today so here's what you guys been waiting to see is the salon

i know, it's a mess but [they] had to break up the concrete and move this type through the wall to get it [torn] needs to be and this is my old station. i actually really love this so i'm going to keep it but we're gonna put it all together and try to get this done so we can make some awesome videos. yes, goodbye coming soon yeah, we're gonna do some track lighting, but we're not going to show you that till it's all the way done this is going to be a guest bedroom for our friends they get to kind of stay with us from out of state or just down visit fellow youtubers [you] can come visit us yeah, applied your applications to visit below um

another bedroom back here closet this will be my office diggy's office, not terribly big battling a ton of space for the office. it's a bedroom i mean how the closet and i went yeah, it's a bedroom if we were to ever sell the house it would just be a [pizza] bedroom, but it's it devo all right you guys and that oh whoa whoa. don't skip the theater don't skip oh we have april's sewing room try it. this is going to have this gonna. have a washer and [dryer] and have the water softener in it and yeah, we just decided that. it'd be nice to have one for the salon or if anyone ever had to live with us like his mom or my mom or something

it'd be nice for them to be able to do their own laundry without having to cop stirrers. yeah come on. we'll be the main reason that we have uh no electricity still, but yes i put some of my awesome shelves in here to hear those turned out good. so we'll have much more space once it's sunk in the theater. let's show them. oh yeah, this will be kitchen bitches, i don't know it's kind of wired for a fight i don't really know what to do though so yeah, hold a little kitchen air big open area here maybe a little table, [i] cut a hole in the wall so we can have a little play area for the kids light [we] put in there. this is the theater [booya]

i've told you this my favorite room in the house will project onto the entire surface of [the] wall so big davey built this side platform so we could put a couch up here and then put another row of couch and then it smells musty there was water down here from the plumbers oh & and then this is gonna be the workout room this is where we get working on our fitness where we work on our fitness? we did a half wall so you can still [see] what's going on in the theater you [can] your fitness [um]? here's the thing i thought this might [be] a fun i did [cuz] look at this half wall if we did like a countertop and had like four or five or six

barstools right there, then we could have people sit back there and eat nachos like really tall barstools nachos and like soda pop and if you're eating snacks you could be back here to work like no carpet, and so it's the room in the house basically where you will lose the most calories and gain the most calories. yeah, never thought about that's not a very good idea okay, well, maybe it will just be a regular old half wall. maybe my whole bar no i like it [gain] the calories lose calories same room boom or you could sit back here any nachos while you're on the treadmill watching to stay equal don't lose or gain weight. [i] like it. i like that [everybody] amber you having fun

okay, wait. i think we're done does that conclude that oh okay, wait one more thing we've got it. no. i didn't we've got a good-sized storage closet here to put all the junk. we don't use [board] [game] blankets board games yeah, i don't just be storage. it'll be nice to have a place to [texture] stuff this is a really long day really long blog, and i'm sorry, but i hope you guys like that. i liked it you're so grateful and so excited to be here. i want to be in this house a long time rolled in this house hopefully that is the case so grow old with me and go alright guys, thanks for [watching]
