bathroom designs chicago

- [kanye] i just love these ceramics - [dave] oh yeah, i didn't toin here because i didn't if i was allowed to come in here. but these are fantastic. - they're an artist named ueta, represented by takashi murakami. so murakami is like top three pop artist, and he's a good friend of mine. so i just got these so like mychristmas present to myself.
- you're familiar withthe cultural pursuit of wabi-sabi in japan? - this house is wabi-sabi vibes. - thank you. what do i win ladies and gentemen? (electronic music) - you gotta check out this bathroom. - whoa. oh geez!
this is fanastic. but look at this good-lookingguy standing over there. - yeah. - come in here. maybe i can just move inhere, at a modest rent. is that possible? - [kanye] yeah, you could just rent out our bathtub actually. - [dave] oh my goodness!
you my friend are getting it done. - [dave] so what do yourepresent in this process? - yeah i'm the creative director of yeezy. - your life is led, or youare in the pursuit of art in many different ways. - i think i use art as asuper power to protect myself in a capitalistic world, and then i give it as a gift to other people and also ican use it to make money. - you don't have to agreebut i know i look great now.
(laughing) people were saying when youtalk to kanye how would you describe your look? and what i came up with was, you're aware of howard hughes? - uh hm. - and you're aware that hewent through a period where he was a recluse and disappearedand there was a guy named melvin dummar's who was drivingthrough the desert in nevada and an old coot like guyswaves down melvin dummar's and
melvin dummar's picks him upand takes him where he's going and it turns out theguy was howard hughes. anyway, howard hughesin the desert, old coot, is kind of what i got going on. - that's a vibe. - [dave] yeah. - [kanye] yeah. - oh it's more than a vibe my friend. - i don't want to look like anold guy trying to look cool.
i want to look like a cool, old guy. - and i don't want myson making fun of me. - can you stop that all together? - yeah, we can. - this kills me, this your mom here huh? - that's eazy-e on the next one. we call these shirts spirit shirts. like these are like a window to the soul. when i wear this eazy-e t-shirti do feel like the spirit
of eazy- like if i haveto go and deal with some business meetings, you know,eazy-e was like an original black business shark! 700's right here. so these shoes, the styleis called a dad shoe. you could just call it ashoe cause you're a dad. - and then now dad, does that suggest i'm off the cool meter? - nah it was like this thingwere taste-makers started
wearing dad shoes, ithink almost to be ironic. - and i just take everything literal. every, like how andy kaufmanjust started literally being a wrestler, it wasn't like a play. it's like, break his arm, everything. - you invoked andy kaufman. - tell me what you knew of him, what was the influencethere, what did he do to you, for you, anything?
- gave me courage. - is that right? - yeah, how do you deal with the media? - here's an example, i farrather be an andy kaufman than the majority of the waypeople are letting the media like push them around. i'm in front of the joke, the joke is on everyone else. that looks fire withthe socks, there you go. - now listen he used to beon the old show all the time.
and at the end of hisappearance on the show, he would lean in and he said "now, be sure to sendme all the hate mail" i just loved that ithought this is fantastic. - it's alternative sources of energy. - you can take, 'speciallycoming up from the south side of chicago and you can takeyour energy from people telling you can't do stuff. - sure.
- even like working on fashion, everyone was like you can't do clothing. - and it just gave me more energy. - there. yeah. - oh ho ho buddy! i think this is it. - let me know when the sale starts.
