bathroom designs 2012

hi there, my name is marina klima and i'man interior designer with klima design group. today, you are going the see the video aboutready-made bathroom converted into custom made. when they are asking me about interior designand what's so important for every project, the answer is always the same, it's the people.it's the client's needs and wants and of course the budget and then it comes to putting ittogether, organizing the project and the people, the people are doing the installation, thepeople that are making the window treatments. it's all about people. and in the video, you will see the workmanshipthat took place in that little project in

that master bathroom suite and i hope youenjoy it and if you do please subscribe, give us your comments, your questions, whateveryou want to say. this master bathroom is in classic style withdark wood cabinetry. there is nothing so crazy extra-ordinary about it except for the qualityof workmanship which really brought it to a different level. our job was to do the drawings, have it installedand design accessories such as window treatments, mirrors, lighting and art. so yes, this is ordinary bathroom of darkwood but the workmanship is great, everything fits perfectly together, trim wood moldingseven trim colorful recessed lighting.

the double vanity is ten feet long so granitetop had to have a certain pattern, proportionate and scale. then we put separate granite platforms toprotect wood cabinets from water. the trim columns crown moldings were all detailed andinstalled on site. now window treatments, i selected hanson fabricto make the bathroom softer and not so formal. the window valance works against the contrastwall. window treatment has three different fabricswhich visually creates dimension. the fabrics are between only fifteen to twenty five dollarsa yard which is really inexpensive. it is all about the details such as proportionsof the initial drawing and the fabrication

quality. this is what brings it to a different levelof a high-end drapery and the art work, the frames work really well against the burgundycolor wall. as far as lighting, i used oil brushed bronzehardware and then same trim for the halogen lamps. we put accent lighting behind the crown moldingfor a softer look. murray feiss chandeliers bounce light, they defuse cream colors inthe walls and the ceiling and then they pick up dramatic burgundy from the contrast wall.yes, i've spent some money on the chandeliers as we decided that this will be the most importantaccessory.

all the light fixtures are in dimmers, thisway we created layers of lighting that depends on the mood of the client. to find out more about our bathroom designsplease visit us online at klimadesigngroup.net
