lantern chandelier dining room
i'm seeing lots of large-scale lighting andtable lamps and an overhead fixtures. i love the look of a big pendant hung over a kitchenisland. i just recently installed a beautiful large-scale glass fixture-- so it is thatsort of industrial, scientific trend-- over my dining room table. and it is beautiful.it is a glass cloche, and i sprayed the inside with mercury glass spray paint to give itthat kind of sparkle and femininity that didn't come from just the plain glass fixture. andthere's a special bulb in there. it's called an edison bulb. so, it looks like that earlylight bulb that's clear, and you can see the filament. it is just such a chic look andso beautiful.
